Re: [diesel_mercedes] Nate would be proud

Too funny!

Nate thinks I need a MB wagon to haul more critters!  The answer was H*ll NO!  We have more then we need now.  Sadly they need us as all of the dogs and cats are rescues that were abandoned after a life of abuse.  Now what I need is forever homes for at least 5 of the dogs!  They all ride well in my MB.

Oh yeah, those bread box, or toaster shaped Toyota vans...COOL!  We bought a 1987 model a few years ago for $400.  It was a beater with 363K miles on the chassis and 130K on the engine that ran and ran!  The fun started when the distributor cap cracked.  The hood is actually the driver's seat and attached floor board!  The front floor boards need to be unbolted to actually have access to the full engine bay!  We got it all ready to sell when it was stolen out of the driveway.  That's when we found out that nearly anything can be used to pick the locks.  It was abandoned across town after it ran out of gas since it was on empty, and it was brought back in one piece.  Mercedes content:  I sold my first 300D to buy the van to haul more people and dogs.

Kevin in Hillsboro, Oregon once again without a Mercedes
