I'm just a braver amateur than you are is all ~ .

If I screw it up or break it , I'll fix it , either way I'll learn something .

I neglected to mention that the idle speed adjuster lock nut is 14MM , I have a very old 9/16" Box End distributor wrench and 9/16" fits 14MM fasteners -but- the offset on this long 'C' shaped tool is , I believe , too large to fit between the IP and the block .

Maybe I'll use a deep socket to loosen it , adjust the idle speed up a couple hundred RPM's then try to re tighten it and not move the adjuster screw much ? .

We shall see . it's all fun and games until someone gets hurt .
