I must be missing something. It's 65-75 bucks to get your alternator completely rebuilt locally here. It looks like new, is guaranteed etc. Why are you guys spending more doing it this way? Also, Check with the MBUSA classic center and you can find out which gasser alternators fit the 123-126 series. Those alternators are modern, made by Bosch and totally rebuildable. In a lot of cases they go cheap because people don't know about interchangeability.
