latch proper ? .
Both are very simple to dismount & repair or replace with good used ,
you can easily swap the lock cylinder over if the handle is the fault .
Inner door panel must needs be removed for any of this however .
Have some aerosol glue ready to re - attach the plastic sheet again ,
you _don't_ want to leave this important piece off ! .
This is a _serious_ safety issue , I urge you to fix it quickly before
a disaster ocurrs .
