YES!  It is connected to the transmission at the bottom.

No he won't be going anywhere until it's hooked up properly. 

We won't be doing this till sometime next week.  Just trying to get info for him when he gets home this weekend. He has limited access to internet during the week.

As I recall, the CPR is transmission related and should not pose a problem in starting the engine as long as you are not driving anywhere, but others may have  a different viewpoint
