Back in the day when I had my Morgan, which was parked outside, I used to keep aerosol cans of carbon tet. fire extinguisher to dry out the ignition from the rain that ran through the louvered hood.  Other than that and the fact that the 2 6V batteries that kept shorting out on the hood, I didn't have major electrical problems.  Admittedly there wasn't much of an electrical system and the fact that the car came with a starting crank helped.
