Keep your eye on the various little vacuum hoses near the oil filter cap. It can be a bugger to get off cleanly (like the fuse box lid, it can take some wiggling), so sometimes you knock loose vacuum hoses while you are wiggling the cap off. Just double check to make sure. Nice thing is that the socket size for the cap nuts is the same as for the oil pan plug (13mm I think). Personally, I keep a ratchet, extension, and socket hooked up all the time so I don't have to go fishing. And I keep extra oil pan plugs around just in case I drop one in the oil, or round the corners off. Check to make sure you have the copper gasket on the plug when you put it back on. Good idea to do a hot oil change too, so it all drips out.
