Several years ago my son and I raced IMCA modified dirt cars. We
always carried a nitro bottle for the air wrench and tire inflation.
Allegedly it is better in tne the tires. Also in the past I owned and
operated a Part 135 air charter service and we always used nitro in
tires. But sometimes we would use compressed air if the bottles were
empty. Don't know of any difference. This is my scientific hands-on
contribution to this thread.
