OK thanks Nate. I didn't think that's what I needed. It does help. Now to decide if (Kevin) fixes it or I sell it. Waiting to hear from Chuck about his car, how low he'll go on price and what's up with the radiator. Also of course need to go look at his car. Working a p/t chef job now, not sure the hours yet. Thought I was working f/t time, but they only used me for 5 hrs yesterday. That's the way it goes in the food industry.
NO ! .
That gasket kit is for the turbo proper , what you need is the oil return tube seals , I clicked on the left illustration and it's guide # 173 , they don't service that but save the illustration and show it to other partshause' & they'll get what you need .
You'll need to remove the lower front sump (oil pan) , I was able to re use my old gasket as Mercedes uses really good quality gaskets that reguire NO GLUE nor RTV .
I hope this helps .
BTW : if anyone in Cali. orders parts from this place , please let me piggyback two of the old style primer pumps onto your order ~ I need them badly .
This place has lots of printable exploded diagrams for your old Mercedes .
