LOL! OK what kind of casserole? Didn't know any or either of us was lonely though???
NO that stupid motor is STILL sitting in the shop at the church camp. Now there's a chipper/shredder in there so he can't get to it...or that's the latest story.
I am communicating with Chuck about his car. Waiting to hear what's up with the radiator. Might have an email in here by now.
Yeah but I walked away from a gasser...which as you pointed out I'd be disappointed with. The whole reason I got interested in Mercedes Benz is for the Diesel motor, not the car specifically...but I'm kinda fond of them now even though mine is a very poor representation of one, I'm getting hooked.
Well ;
Nate tends to buy junkers anyway so maybe not too proud....
I think buying any Mercedes gasser will be a big let down to you .
Chucks' (?) 300SD with working AC for $1,200 sounds pretty good to me , of course there's work needed but if it passes the Oil Cap Test and isn't rusty , dented and on and on , it might well be your salvation .
I thought you said the bad engine was long gone , no ? . Hm .
OBTW : the Lonely Hearts Club will have the regular meeting this Friday , don't forget to bring a Cassrole .
