For the modification you will need an external relay. Wire, switches, fuses.
Know How! But it's not too hard. You need to grind off the top of the
connection to the contacts to get the wire and connector off. With the top
ground off it twists off easily and will leave a little stud. Discard or
recycle this. Remove the contact on the other side with pliers. Bend the
wire
to match and solder. Easy. You will need then to put a fuse and relay under
the hood and will have to do a wire run up to the modified relay which is just
a
connector to the glow plugs now. You will also need small wire into the
passenger compartment and a switch. Lighting the glowplug light would be nice
but I don't know how to do that yet on the late models. I know on the under
dash relay system.
