this goes for diesel and gas.Move gear selector to first then back to D.Hold foot on brake raise idle to 2000 rpm by first white light 3rd light stomp fuel foot down launch on the 4th light.

Will I get better quarter mile time if I allow my transmission to shift me up through the time event or would I be quicker if I shift up through the gears manually.

Also, perhaps a recommendation on the best slicks to use?
