Dexron® B is an ooooold designation that has long been superceded.  Unless you happen across some guy who put away a case in his garage 15-some years ago, you aren't going to find it.

Dexron/Mercon is the approved replacement for Dexron.  You can also use Dexron III or Dexron IV, which are synthetic fluids, so more pricey.  Many suppliers (like Castrol) also offer an "Import" fluid, which will also work.  Pretty much anything but Type F will more than match the specifications of the original Dexron B.

I've read over and over again in the book that my '81 300D should have Dexron B. Where can I find it? I checked WM, kinda figured they wouldn't have it. Checked O'Reilly, they didn't have it.
