This story piqued my curiosity a lot , it turns out he was driving Lake Hughes Road , a wide , high speed road through some mountains , it has steeply banked twisty corners making it a fun road , it's always full of high speed traffic and is a nice drive .
The 67 year old said another car came 'round a corner with the high beams on and refused to dip them , this blinded him and he didn't turn sharp enough and so sailed off the cliff .
I've driven this road many times and find it enjoyable .
Too bad about the 88 Y.O. guy who died .
