Re: [diesel_mercedes] Re: Today's project...
You may joke about it, or make light of the situation here in L.A., but there are realities to confront.
Last Sunday, Nate and I spent time in a few junkyards. Walking the rows was certainly useful exercise. But both of us walked ourselves into sunburns. I was wearing a broad brimmed hat. But the reflections off the glass and shiny surfaces of cars gave my face and neck a reasonable burn anyway.
We have to suffer like this a lot. I decided to increase my investment in Coca Cola Co. this week, after watching the number of tanks of soda we, and dozens of others, slurped down at convenience stores between yards - if I spend it on being hydrated in February, maybe I'll make a little back on the dividend checks when I retire.

We are suffering greatly in La Verne. I am wearing a T-shirt. The sun is out. Might get to 72F. I am off to buy a new chair mat, get some $3.55 diesel, and if it is warm enough, will head for the Ontario PAP. Don't want to over do it cuz you never know when a snow flurry might hit. brian from la verne, ca
