First, the Santa Ana winds were blowing hard which made keeping my camp on pretty difficult. The winds also drove the temps up into the 80's which was hard to take.
Second, there were 6-8 hubcaps from 240d's which could be cleaned up and painted for those who want them.
Third, no w123 300d's for me, but, but, but
an odd collection of 108's, 115's, and a 116 pretty well picked over but not normally found at Ontario.
Fourth, normal 5 or 6 w126 gassers with a couple of nice bodies, and some interior stuff.
Fifth, a couple of turbochargers which, if I were in need of such, I might have picked up for rebuilding.
Sixth, lots of Volvo station wagons but no w123 TD wagons.
Nowadays I leave my tools in the car when I am making a run through. Otherwise, I get bogged down pulling bits and pieces. Like Nate, I now use these visits for walking and getting my exercise.
