There is a extra allen bolt (small) on top of manifold.Your boost line fits perfect there.If a w126 you need to use longer plastic hose.

Cool - nice job on the cleaning! I went through the same level of detail just with the thermostat housing when I snapped one of the mounting bolts and had to drill it out. At least I knew if it held and didn't leak I should probably never have to deal with it again, save for a new thermostat in x0000 miles. (It is holding, as I finally had to put a proper Mercedes t-stat and seal in a few months ago and re-seat / re-tighten the housing)

Alas, if I do my own turbo, I won't be taking the entire housing/assembly off, so I'll have less to clean/replace.

It looks simple enough, and as long as the impellers and shafts are good, I should be able to do it in a 1/2 day (or 3 days in my case)

So where does the boost gauge sensor go? Would be pretty cool to have a turbo gauge in the dash cluster.

(like my '78 Saab 99T comes with)
