RE: [Diesel-RVs] ? about adding an external propane tank

Jim,

Ohio must allow the use of external tanks since most other people here have
them. I just wanted to make sure I wasn,t harming anything by back filling
the propane lines from the quick connect fitting. The propane company thinks
it would be OK but I called Fleetwood and they will not answer anything
because of liability concerns.

laws on propane external bottles vary from state to state...
it would be wise (better) to contact the place that sells and sets up
bottles in your area ...
opinions on here will vary according to the various Fed/State laws
that govern that -- and that type advice would best be from proper
source ....
