My car started after three tries this afternoon. It ran smooth after a
faltering minute. But then came a big surprise. The car now has little
to no power. I barely got out of the driveway and my drive home was
total frustration.
I think that my fuel supply of clogged somewhere beyond the filters.
When I primed the new clear filter, the pump readily filled it.
I suspect that a piece of O ring from my filter bolt has gone somewhere
in my system. One piece was found in the hole in the side of the filter
mounting bolt. Where would the next logical orifice be?
Is there a check valve somewhere that keeps pressure up in the system?
It seems as if I have to build it up every time I shut it off.
