' Chrome paint ' , simply put , _isn't_ .
It's regular old silver paint with a fancy label and a higher price .
If you use it , you will ruin the reflector and be really pi$$ed off to boot for having been taken advantage of .
Yes , I tried it when I was 14 or so , I thought it looked cool on the label and had a rusty chrome bumper I ever so carefully cleaned , sanded and prepped.....
After it was partially shiny chrome (the old stuff I'd polished) and partially matte finish silver paint....
Grrrr.....
