What do you mean gasket sealer?
Gaskets form a seal between metal surfaces: such as the gasket that goes between the valve cover and the valve head, or the gasket that goes between the oil pan and the bottom of the engine.
Unless MBZ specifies something in addition to the gasket, the only thing you need to seal the gasket is a properly twisted socket, pulling down to the specified torque.
Gasket cements, found in toothpaste tubes at auto parts stores, may seem like sensible quick fixes. But when you need to do the gasket again, you will have residual cement on the system. You will be tempted to use a scraper to remove that residue and you WILL carve scratches into machined sealing surfaces while you are scraping.
Don't use any "helpful" product that wasn't specified by MBZ. Your Mama knew how to raise you. Ma Benz knows how to build your car.
