On a slightly related subject I have noticed that the members of this group tend to the "frugal", a quaint Anglo-Saxon euphemism for cheap, which leads them to spend inordinate amounts of money in the perpetuation of an outdated, albeit bulletproof vehicle. As is common with addictive personalities, they have fixated on the logical design, basic good looks and solid construction which leads them to overlook the fact that a modern vehicle can be obtained which will at least match the fuel economy and provide, for a few years , a relatively untroubled experience. As for me, Guilty as charged.
Agreed but that's how it will always be with some people , don't push them as they won't budge and no point in off-pi$$ing the good folks here....

I've always wondered why some folks dont like to talk about what stuff costs.
Whats the big deal? We all live in the same world(more or less) and life is
"what it is". I think information is useful,(good and bad) sometimes stuff like
this is really good to know. What the price for a car is, what parts and labor
costs. Just my .02 cents worth, or not. Max
