I purchased RV Shield and I have had two claims against it --- one for a hydraulic fan hub and the other for a defective U-joint (the U-joint finally failed after 5 years of use). In both cases, the claims were paid without any question. I have all of my maintaince work done at Cummins South in Atlanta and Bill (the manager there) has said that he has no problems dealing with the RV Shield people. As a matter of fact, he was surprised that they covered the defective U-joint as that is usually a "normal" wear item.
