Yes, the canister itself.
Thanks

Wait, you must be talking about the canasiter itself, right? We all have changed the filters with the big o ring on the lid, and even the little tiny ones down the tube. Where is the leak exactly? Max

Hi,
Even after all the repairs/ maintenance I've done recently, or have had done, I still have a bad leak at the oil filter canister.
Has anyone done a oil filter canister gasket replacement?
I have the gasket, and special shortened wrenches used to work the oil cooler lines, yet it still looks like a PITA.
Any advice? Did replacing the gasket stop the leak? Any special sealants used on the gasket, etc?
Thanks
Rob
