Sounds good. I sprayed a silicone product on my door seals . Did not work. I have some armor all . We have warmed up and it really sucks because now the snow has turned to slop. The roads are all a mess. Of course my snow plow truck decided to break down. I was plowing the other day and the alternator belt exploded and must of got under the other belts because they all came off. So I drove into town in the worst conditions I've seen in a long time. 25 mph for most of it. Took over a hour for 25 miles, Got home went to put the belts on, wrong belts. So the next day go back to town, same thing only roads are worse, its warmer. This time at least the two power steering belts were good, but the alternator belt was short. I found a Maytag belt that seems to be working for the alternator. I've learned two important lessons. Write the damn numbers down and don't throw good stuff out just because you don't need it now. Not complaining, could be worse, like those folks in Sol Cal. Max

Rub the seals with a cloth soaked in Armor All. Yeah, I know, and I don't use this stuff on vinyl, but it really helps to keep rubber from freezing to metal and painted metal surfaces and to preserve it.. If everyone with cv axle-equipped cars would rub down their cv joint boots with Armor All once a year, the cv axle rebuilding industry would be disappear....

This is for you guys in the frozen North. What do you put on the door seals? Its a very bad feeling opening your door and ripping the door seal off the door or the body. I need to re-do my Subie and the silicone spray I just used is not working. maxOn Mon, Jan 8, 2018 at 6:45 AM, bstromsoe@yahoo.com [diesel_mercedes] <diesel_mercedes@yahoogroups.com > wrote:
I put new front windows in my twins 5 years ago. It was a wonderful, marvelous, great thing to do. Goodbye to glare, pits, and squinting. Great investment.
