I thought the speedo and the odo ran off the same gear, no? My 82 has a
drain plug low center below the manifolds. Fairly easy to get to. I
plumbed the coolant heater into it.
Handy for flushing having a hose attached there. I was able to flush it
out backwards, bottom -up, as it were.
