Re: [diesel_mercedes]Re: 300TD ALIGNMENT

I bring my cars to a known suspension/ alignment shop; they're not the
cheapest, yet they always do it right, and will tell you if somethings
worn out or is wearing out, so it can be replaced. When you drop off
your car you also see, bunches of nice classic cars there, as well as
other special cars/trucks in the bays, showing who else trusts them with
their cars. If I drove a standard late model car, I would just use the
tire guys, as that's what they're used to, and they're cheaper.

The other day I replaced the differential mount and attempted the
subframe bushings, which wouldn't set, even using a jack to lift the car
from the bushing, so I had to call the suspension/ alignment shop and
have them do the subframe bushings. Just replacing those parts, I gained
about an inch of ride height in the rear, which already has new springs
and HD Bilsteins. I'll see how it feels on a curving road sometime soon.
