Good to know. I am at the Ontario (CA) Truck Stop all the time (going their today). Maybe I will go into the store and see what else they have for us diesel people.

truck stops sell cases and cases of regular rubbing alcohol in northers states in the winter to de-ice diesel fuel lines.

I believe it needs to be ethyl alcohol (grain) as methanol and isopropyl will settle the entrained water out and you don't want that in the fuel system. Indeed, the rest of the bottle of Everclear will make a nice toddy!

Am sure you have thought of this, but try adding a cup of alcohol into the fuel tank. If there is any water accumulated the alcohol will take it into solution with the fuel, and allow it to burn off.
Tony
If that doesnt work, just drink the rest of the alcohol.

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear." Marcus Tullius Cicero 42B.C.
