Ah ~
Now I see , I was thinking W-123 Chassis , you have a W-126 .
Take the car and your registration to the closest M-B Dealer _RIGHT_NOW_ and order up a new yeay ~ it's about $40 IIRC but will fit the trunk , doors and glovebox lock unless you car has been in the hands of nasty people .
This key comes in 24 ~ 48 hours so get to it RIGHT NOW .
BTW : this new yey should also fit the ignition and work *much* smoother .
IMO it is $ well $pent .
Fow now , you can try opening the fuse box and turning all the furse in place , occasionally they corrode and things stop working ~ if that gets your trunk open , replace ALL the fuses with yellow metal ones , paying close attentiion to which color fuse goes where , there's a shitload of fuses in there .
