Picked up some bad veggie oil, smelly and bubbling gasses in 5 gallon buckets. Obviously, it was had water in it, which had settled and there was some growth in the bottom of the buckets creating the gasses.
1 teaspoon of Bio Kleen per bucket, a good shake, and 4 days covered to settle before checking again. No bubbles floating up through the veggie, and the veggie was much clearer.
Now I am siphoning off the veggie from the top, after another week of settling, to filter with an extra pass. Typically I do 2 passes, for this I built a third filter with a larger medium volume to prevent clogging so quickly, before going through my regular system.
I will use this quickly, right to the car and not in the storage drum, as the Bio Kleen did not help to much with the smell.
If I ever get diesel fungus, I would not hesitate to use this in my tank. If it comes to this, I will however carry extra filter just in case even though the web site states does not clog filters, don't they all.
I am now thinking I should have got a bottle of Startron to compare the two.
