[diesel_mercedes] Fuel Economy Check 1982 240D Slushbox

 

AC used the whole tank , mostly around town driving , the dang fuel filter bolt that was dry as a bone when I was wking on the car , has decided to weep a tiny bit so I guess I'll begin trying other bolts , I have a few spares .

This last fillup I added some White Spower Service Cetane Booster , got back from working to - day (an other post later) and SWMBO says whatever I did , the car runs noticably better and accelerates faster .

221 miles , 23.8 MPG , a slight improvement but still not up to snuff IMO .
