have you tried a casette adapter? one of those $9 things, shaped like a cassette that has a wire with a jack attached. I've been using one in another car to play a MP3 player. The cassette adapter may still work even though the belts in the player are worn out.

What an apostasy!  I am almost positive this change out violates one of the original Nateisms. There is nothing worse than turning on one of your internal beliefs.  This could end up with you in the gutter with a Panasonic or Sony!!

Enough of that.  On the way to work this morning I was actually thinking of finding a repair source for MY ORIGINAL BECKER.  My radio is still awesome, more than I would ever hope for, but my cassette deck has not worked since I have owned my coupe.

Any suggestions on who could do a job like that right?
