[diesel_mercedes] Re : Which bushing to choose for '80 300SD? - NATE

_Maybe_ as the W-123 had two different control valve linkages too....

Don't feel bad Trish ~ I do lots of junkyard builds & repairs and Tom & I see so many 1/2 finished projects abandoned instead of having you and Keith to work it through .

In the end , you'll love it and all will be fine , you'll see .

Just to - night , as the sun was setting , I was grafting a 1976 Chevy Nova's HEI Dist. into my aging 1969 Chevy C/10's 250 CID L6 engine , as I was searching for some 5MM sized nuts & bolts to hook up the hot wires , I ran across the left overs of those same bronze bushings & wondered how you're getting along .

I didn't find the hardware I needed so in the end I used the grey plastic snap fit bushing / clips that hold the W-123 glove box liner to the body....

Worked a treat , the truck is running smooth and I'll figure out some correct hardware to - morrow as I change the oil & filter , when the engine is _blistering_ hot , of course ! . =8-) .
