I *always* listen to you, Nate :) I did the purge and the hot oil and filter change...though I didn't get the car until October ;)
Valve adjustment was waiting...for tools, money for tools, manual...and for me to even learn what a camshaft lobe was. Now I'm ready, the manual is here in shiny gold xmas wrap (gift from my sis), will have xmas money for tools to either turn engine at the crankshaft OR the PS pulley nut.
AND...once this cold & snow snap ends, I can still do it in probably 40ish weather.

I wish I could. But I didn't even have money for rent this month...just a crazy 2 months financially...things are (slowly) on the upswing...but $20-$30 in tools and standing out in the cold for hours is more likely than $98/hr for my favorite mechanic.
