[diesel_mercedes] Seat Adjuster Knob Removal

 

I am taking my front seat cover off by bucket seats and have found that the MB Tec is center punched and slipped behind the big black seat angle adjuster. To get it loose, I need to get those knobs off. What's the trick to getting them off? I have pried a little bit but I do not want to break one. HELP? I have a hot date tonight and I don't want to pull up with a quilt over the seat back.
