Nate,
Yes, plumeria are low care succulents, leave them alone throughout the
fall, winter, though they're tropical, so like some water in the summer,
when they have leaves and flowers. A little summer fertilizer = more
flowers next year. Even in a pot will be fine.
I have a huge tree sized plumeria, as well as others, which I trim from
time to time, so I have cuttings right now. SWMBO will like the
plumeria, and may put one of its flowers in her hair while you're out on
a drive in your MB coupe.
