If you have the receipts for the recent works and parts , the insurance co. is required to add that amount to the writeoff value...
BT , DT , they still junked my car but I kept it and rebuilt it anyways .
You can take it to a professional vehicle appraiser and spend a few $ to have it appraised , this should also include the recent expenses and will help leverage the ins. co to fix it .
I don't mind salvage titles but it can be difficult to get collision coverage on one , be aware .
