Sound like a after market filter,would be nice if it is a water seperator filter too.I have a w126 with a OM617.I have had no problems.Drove it on a trip 2600 miles no problem. It is our families primary vehicle.I would take her anywhere.Just make sure her timing chain has been changed if needed,and motor mounts,flex disk,fuel lines.All again if needed.
