Folks:
I built and installed injectors with #265 rather than #240 nozzles. The 265's are much more tolerant of variance in pop pressures: they start going psst at 1000 pounds and keep doing it up to about 2300. This means that when your springs get old and start opening early once they are hot, your engine won't miss from an injector going pfft (instead of psst) at 1800 pounds.
Now all I need to do is figure out how to seal the injector body to the nozzle holder and retweak nozzle reeds (injector heat shields) so that they can be used again,
Any one have any ideas?
