[diesel_mercedes] 72 280SE, cracked tranny case, $400.00 OBO in Salt Lake City near perfect otherwise

And I have a spare tranny in my parts car. Mechanical kickdown type. Question
is this: will my 79 300TD tranny bolt up to this engine?

I'm guessing it will since the tranny interface is bolted onto the blocks (as
opposed to being part of the casting). Just wanna make sure.
