[Diesel-RVs] Filtered Oil

First let me thank everyone for the diesel fuel enlightenment, it was very helpful and now I'll start using the truck islands.

My next question has to do with a previous thread on additives and a discussion on adding filtered oil to the tank up to 5%, not that I have that much. The part that never seem to come up is how do you filter old crankcase oil to make it useable in the tank, and secondly can I burn an gallon of unused oil that been sitting in the garage? Other than getting rid of it does it provide any benefit to the engine?

Thanks in advance,

& Dave the keyword WAS your Santiam, and no you can't have it back. I'll send you a picture after I remove all the decals and paint them on, along with a snapshot of the Joey bed......<gr>
