make a barrel trap, so, you can seal him in when he's caught.
Then,
you can make the decision of euthanasia or 'catch and release', the latter
is especially fun if you have someone you want to play a prank
on............

Live cage type traps allow them to spray still........
death traps allow for spray..........
Not much scares them, without spraying.....
shooting them, they spray quite often anyway..........

ask me how I know these things..........

I don't have Norwigans but a _skunk_ seems to have taken up residence
underneath my bedroom window , he comes by every night around 03:15 and
the stink wakes me up ~ I'm not stupid enough to go out with a
flashlight and garden hose , what is the best way to get rid of this
critter ? .
