RE: [Diesel-RVs] Re: Wet carpet - drivers floor when rains

FIRST you need to SURE what seams (or other areas) are leaking. Slapping
Eternabond and/or caulk on places you THINK are leaking can be a frustrating
experience when the leak just keeps on happening. When you are fairly
certain where the leak originates, THEN, depending on where those seams are
and whether or not the area is between the glass and window frame, or
sidewall covered with fullbody paint, you will decide on what the most
appropriate repair might be. Some Eternabond tape can be painted, but
sometimes silicone caulk might be a better choice. And silicone will
normally be easier to find, although I have seen one RV dealer in Wichita,
Kansas who had Eternabond on the store shelves.
