We're on a road trip right now, in my 1982 240D base model , it's doing fine if slow @ 60 ~ 65 MPH .
I love this old car beyond all reason .

We're planning a roadtrip, though most likely we will take the Van, fully setup with a fridge, and portapotti, only needing to stop for Diesel at some point, otherwise avoiding people along the way. Avoiding folks down here too, as we seem to be in a hotspot.
