I just replaced both head light doors on my 1982 240D, the only one still available from Mercedes is the passenger side .The box and all the part # labels clearly say "MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA" but they're still using the original tooling so the "MADE IN GERMANY" letters are still molded into the plastic .The driver's side door appears to be made either on old tooling or reverse engineered as it has the exact same DOT certification #'s but not the country of origin and it uses non matching colored epoxy to glue the two pieces .As you can see in both pictures, these really brighten up the front end .-Nate
