Hey folks,
My car has been quite reliable despite single digit temps. The last two
days, when coming home from work, I have forgotten to plug her in. The
first day, the 4 cylinder cranked slowly, but caught one cylinder at a
time. Yesterday, the battery proved itself not up to the task. I never
thought my car cranked as freely as I have heard others, so I was not
really surprised. I bought the mid-priced battery. With that one she
whipped over and started instantly.
I did not buy the car to be driven so much in the winter, but we lost a
car through a crash this summer and it was pressed into full-time
service. My only regret is that running it in snow and salt is surely
doing to degrade the body, which was quite nice.
