Great news Lawrence!!! As soon as they get the range over 250 miles,
I'll be with you. The new lower priced Tesla sounds promising.
Didn't know you lived in Lodi. My Aunt lived there for over 50 years.
Are you still gigging??

Well Stan that is what my brother says and whey Tesla meet that the estimate whet up to 500 miles. But with just the 84 mile range I was able to go to LA last week. Drive from Lodi in one charge. It's also not the range but the charging time that is the real problem. If you could charge in 10 minutes then few people would complain. Currently my quick charges are 45 minutes and that gets you up to 92 or 93 percent. It took me with huge mistakes 24 hours to get from San Francisco to LA. But once there I had my ride. During my stay Disney Hall & the LA Water Dept. gave me free charges. On the way back I spent 20 dollars and 19 hours. I'm willing to put up with the extra time because I don't have to spend much time maintaining my car anymore...add that into the mix. So what I'm giving up in convenience is made up with time savings and cost savings in other places. So enjoy the low fuel price foreplay now because baby give it time and bend over and take that big 10 buck a gallon love stick from the oil companies. That is the train I'm getting off and I love it. My car is right for my mission and the slight inconvenience I face is nothing compared to 10 dollar fuel...and it's coming. I'm still going to build my solar car. A lot of you could get off gas or diesel...or veggie oil. You just have to plan ahead. I bet all of you could go electric for one car. Try it. You'll like it. Lawrence Rhodes
