[diesel_mercedes] Wagon Progress

I still have a well thumbed copy of that book on my kitchen shelf....

In a short I'm going back to it , I think I'll address the doors a bit more this morning .

Got home this afternoon and got straight to it .

Installed the left front aftermarket brake caliper , the bolt holes were too snug to get the bolts in , that took a little time then it all buttoned right up , new ATE 15MM pads , hardware , wear sensors etc. .

I couldn't find my magnetic parts dish that has the small bolts that hold the wear sensor sub harness to the caliper ~ this is whay I dislike not having all the parts at hand , it's been apart for a month now and I can't put the wheels back on until I find or replace those two dang bols , might be 6MM but I tried using a generic 6 X 1.00 MM bolt and no dice ~ it didn't want to thread in so I have to go search the Junk Yards again I guess .

It appears my Motion Pro pressure brake bleeder is dying of old age , it won't hold pressure so I cannot bleed the brakes until I get a helper over *:-&lt sigh.

Of course , I now know exactly where my big (even bigger now) box of W-123 door checks is along with their spare hardware so I'll try to service a few sets and attack my Coupe and the '82 240D before I misplace them again .
