The rubber seal on my car's monovalve is quite torn, yet it still gives some heat.
I got a box in the mail today, with the monovalve repair kit et al.

This morning - I disconnected the electrical to the monovalve. Then I put the wheel on red, ran the blower on EC at low, high, and adjustable. Got great heat through all settings. Reinstalled the electrical connections.
Now I have to go back and remind myself what the monovalve is supposed to do for me.
