Yes, in older vehicles, the water pump is behind the fan that is behind the radiator. Try to figure out what is flipping the fan belt off. Check all the pulleys that the water pump belt runs over.    Bill in Oregon

The Fan turns easy and seems solid.  The pump is behind it...correct?  Lawrence Rhodes
